SUPPORT MY JOURNEY
On September 8 and 9, 2012, Cathy and I, along with thousands of others, will join together to walk in the battle against all women's cancers. This will be Cathy's 10th year participating in this important event! She has been involved since its inception.
Over the last nine years, my family has raised over $100,000 for this worthwhile charity. From its inception, we recognized the importance of supporting this cause. Your support will fund the critical work of Princess Margaret Hospital and their efforts to end breast and gynecologic cancers, diseases that one in seven Canadian women will be diagnosed with in their lifetimes.
As most of you know, in December, 2006, my wife Cathy was diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently underwent very extensive treatment to fight this dreaded disease. Even prior to her diagnosis, Cathy devoted much time and effort to raising funds for research into the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
I ask you to donate whatever you can to help her and the thousands of others who have been stricken by women's cancers and who will be in the future. Join us in winning this battle with these dreaded diseases by becoming a walker and/or by sponsoring us. The money raised to date has lead to ground breaking discoveries and successful treatments. Medical research is getting ever closer to preventing and curing this disease. Help the medical community eradicate this disease like they have numerous others in the past.
